The farthest distance cat leap to cat grab (wall to wall) is 3.30 m (10 ft 9.9 in) and was achieved by Zhang Yijie (China) in Beijing, China, on 18 November 2024.

Zhang was hanging on the first wall with hands and with both feet off the ground prior to the attempt. Then he propelled himself by hitting the wall and leaping towards the second wall with both hands firmly grabbing the edge of the second wall, the position was kept in a controlled manner for at least 5 seconds.
