Most prolific videogame series based on a toy

Since LEGO® first entered the gaming scene with LEGO® Island (Mindscape, 1997), the series has produced 72 games. The latest game in the series was LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2 (Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment), released on 14 November 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. The total also includes titles produced for LEGO's Bionicle franchise, numerous entertainment licences, mobile games, educational games and sports-based spin-offs.
